Meag Rinier

    • Meag strives to meet clients where they are in building a movement practice that empowers the client to build confidence and self efficacy in their bodies. 

    • They believe that showing up is the key to building healthy habits and meaningful change. Movement can be medicine and benefits both physical and mental health. 

    • Meag's interest in coaching comes from a background in athletics and coaching. With the onset of autoimmune disease they found ways to work with the ebbs and flows of their condition, while incorporating a deep focus on strength training.

    • They hope to instill a feeling of power and positive mind-body connection with their clients. 

  • Outside of the gym, Meag enjoys trail running, strength training and riding bicycles. Spending time with their older dog is their favorite, as well as cooking and creating. 

    They have spent over a decade working in the bicycle industry and continue to contribute their efforts at Old Spokes Home. 

Ilaria DeLesdernier

  • Ilaria’s passion for movement began with her background in competitive dance and high school athletics. She started weightlifting with her older brother in high school and has been lifting ever since. Her training philosophy centers on the balance between discipline and enjoyment, believing that challenging work and fun can, and should, go hand in hand.

    At Soma VT, Ilaria focuses on creating personalized programs that meet each client where they are, while helping them grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. Her goal is to make fitness sustainable, rewarding, and joyful, both in and outside the gym.

    When not in the gym, you’ll find Ilaria biking the Burlington Bike Path, catching the sunset with friends, fishing on Lake Champlain, or catching up on the latest reality TV.

  • Outside of the gym Amber owns and operates a cleaning business. She knows the value of a functional body. Alongside her active lifestyle Amber enjoys spending time with her family, running, strength training, and independent challenges such as running and obstacle course races. 

    Amber believes exercise should be a resource of empowerment, and self improvement. Not only a workout but an investment for the mind and body. Meeting each client where they are at and creating a personalized program with intentions to create lifestyle wins alongside progress in their workout. Amber thrives from sharing the benefits of exercise with others.

  • For the past 15 years, Tate has been committed to helping people make meaningful, lasting improvements in their health and well-being. His coaching focus is to create a motivating yet supportive environment where you can pursue your goals with confidence and without judgment.

    His coaching style is influenced by a range of professional settings, including work in an outpatient physical therapy clinic, training Division I athletes, leading private and group fitness sessions, and five years of remote fitness coaching.
    He brings a strong commitment to continuing education with seven fitness certifications anchored by a Blended Master’s degree in Wellness Leadership & Athletic Training, and a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.

    When Tate isn't at work he loves spending as much time outside as possible with his wife and daughter.

Julia Pfaff

  • Julia’s love for movement began during COVID-19. What started as a way to cure boredom quickly grew into her biggest passion. She believes movement is a powerful tool for optimizing daily life, enhancing not only physical strength but also mental well-being.

    During her summer internship, Julia is eager to apply the knowledge she’s gained as a third-year Exercise Science student while continuing to learn and grow alongside the coaches and clients.

    When she’s not in the gym, you can find Julia experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, adventuring with family and friends, walking or hiking, and expanding her knowledge of health and wellness.

Tyler Fallon

  • When not in the gym Tyler enjoys spending much of his summer outside in activities such as hiking, camping and fishing.

    He also enjoys reading and cooking great food! Tyler became interested in exercise science through his passion for helping others become healthier.

    Tyler is on his way to completing his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2027, and hopes to become a strength and conditioning coach in the future.

  • James has always been very active throughout his life, playing 3 sports in high school and frequently exercising. But through high school, James knew how he could make a career out of those hobbies until a friend talked about Exercise Science. This led to James switching from English Literature to Exercise Science after his first semester of college, and he now feels it was the best decision he has made

    Outside of the gym you can find James playing Baseball for VTSU - Lyndon, Snowboarding at Smuggs, Golfing, and playing his Guitar.

  • Joy’s passion for massage therapy stemmed from her own need for extensive rehab from a crippling sports injury. She was amazed that by addressing the soft tissue components surrounding the injury site it promoted muscular balance and fluidity, with pain free movement patterns.

    Joy also studies to understand structural movement patterns, the difference between male and female muscular balances and how to address injuries and rehabilitation. Joy is looking forward to working with you and creating a healing environment that promotes a healthy, balanced and active lifestyle.

  • Jes has over 20 years of clinical experience in general orthopedics, sports medicine, industrial rehabilitation, pre-/post- surgical care, performance enhancement, wellness training, & injury prevention. She has worked with clients of all ages and across all activity levels – from highly sedentary people to highly active populations including athletes of all levels, law enforcement, and the military. It is her life’s mission to help others toward “Better” and to assist people on their journey out of pain and injury and back to life.
