Soma VT Coach Position

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures playbook

  • Assess, Program and Administer training programs to membership 

  • Coach in a positive, energetic environment  

  • Pursue growth, knowledge and stewardship

  • Maintain clean and professional work environment

Prerequisites

  • Strong belief in teamwork 

  • Growth mindset in seeking better solutions within the health and fitness environment

  • Flexible schedule (e.g., early mornings, later evenings as needed and agreed upon)

  • CPR/AED certified within 3 months of hire 

  • Current or pending certification from one of the following bodies

    • NSCA, ACSM, NASM or equivalent

Compensation

  • Coach is eligible for commission of individual sales (individual/group coaching, online programming) ($28.60 - $44/session)

  • Coach is provided a $500/annual stipend for approved continuing education courses/clinics effective September 1st of each year

  • Coach is eligible to work on in-house projects, these projects include 

    • In-service clinic presentations 

    • Member clinics 

    • Writing  

    • Educational/Exercise Library videos
